Humla Limi Valley Trek

20 Days Spring, Autumn and Summer Nepal
Description:

The Humla Limi Valley Trek is a truly adventurous trek that takes you into the complete wilderness of nature. Still protecting the century-old Buddhist traditions and culture, people in this region resemble more with the Tibetans towards the north than the Hindus in the country. The trek offers stunning views of great mountains like Mt. Saipal, Mt Byas, Rishi, Api, Kanjirowa and Kanti in Nepal and also holy Mt Kailash across the border in Tibet.  The trekking route was opened to foreigners only in 2002 and is still restricted for a large number of visitors. Therefore, only limited numbers of permits are issued every year. This ensures the preservation of floras and fauna and the ecosystem of the region.

The trek follows ancient trading as well as pilgrimage route between Tibet and Nepal and requires passing through challenging high passes. During the trek, we will pass through several yak pastures, terraced land structures, rivers and waterfalls, and picturesque villages. If we get lucky enough, we may even have a chance to encounter the snow leopards and blue sheep, beside wolves, wild yaks, and Himalayan Black Bears.

It portrays a different side of adventurous Nepal than the regular trekking trails. Witnessing the mystical land of Tibet, the connection between Nepal and Tibet can be easily identified by the prayer flags, mani walls and stone houses that we can see on the way.

Enjoy the amazing and mystical journey to the Humla Limi Valley with Hoshi Treks and Expeditions Team. We will help you earn the most memorable moments in your life.
