Throughout the trekking journey, you’ll experience various and unique cultures and panorama. On the way, you’ll pass through some villages of Gorusingha, Sija, Jaljala. The trek ends at the tranquil heaven that is Rara Lake. The reason for the heavenly look of Rara Lake is that it is so blue yet the lake shows three different colors in a day. The amazingly beautiful Rara Lake situated at such a high altitude surrounds itself with the dense green forests of Pine, alpine meadows, juniper, spruce and to this amusement, the giant magnificent snowy peaks add up much more tranquility and glow. Go on a short hike to the Murma Top, a viewpoint from where you can witness the whole lake and the surrounding areas, not to mention mountains in the backgrounds. Besides Rara Lake, lays the Rara National Park, which is one of the most enchanting national parks to observe diverse wildlife. These forests are also home of more than 200 species of colorful birds and butterflies like Himalayan Black Bear, Musk Deer, Leopards, Ghoral, Thar, and Red Panda. The national park consists of several blue pines, black juniper, oak, cypress, and rhododendron (national flower of the country) forests. Rara Lake Trekking route is a less crowded and much-unfrequented path. So, if you are looking for peace and isolation while being in nature, Rara Lake Trek is an ideal choice for you.
