Lobuche East Peak (6119m)

15 Days Autumn, Spring & Summer Nepal
Description:

Lobuche East Peak standing high at 6119m is one of the most attractive and interesting trekking peaks of Nepal. The Lobuche East peak is one of the two peaks of the Lobuche peak. The other summit is Lobuche West Peak also a popular expedition peak, connected by a continuous ridge with the Lobuche East yet separated by a sharp gap and a considerable distance. There are various existing routes to the Lobuche East Peak. However, the normal route is from the South Ridge which is formed by the dark triangles of the rocky East face rising over the moraines of Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline. The first ascent to this adventurous peak was made by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on 25th April 1984.

Upon reaching the top of the summit, we can marvel at the amazing views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt Lhotse (8516m), Mt Makalu (8463m), Mt Nuptse (7861m), Mt Pumori (71661m) and Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m).
